Svenja Schauten is a young professional in the field of development cooperation fostering employment of African talent in the IT sector. With a background in foreign languages, economics and EU project management, she is passionate about creating value in a multicultural environment. In her role as Deputy Managing Director at the German association Digital Skills Accelerator Africa (DSAA) e. V., Svenja’s aim is to contribute to the provision of educational opportunities by implementing training programs in Rwanda, Ghana, Senegal, Côte d’Ivoire, Egypt and Morocco. The inclusion of people with disabilities as well as activities for women empowerment are subjects that are particularly close to her heart.
