Cheikh is a Senior Consultant at Deloitte supporting organizations in their efforts to promote universal electricity access in Sub-Saharan Africa by leveraging decarbonization, digitalization, and decentralization. His industry experience includes energy access & energy transition, climate finance, valorization & emissions’ mitigation in the Waste sector and circular economy. He has worked in countries such as Senegal, Burkina Faso, Côte d’Ivoire, Rwanda, Kenya and Germany. Cheikh holds a PhD in applied physics, specializing in bioenergy, from Gaston Berger University (UGB) in Saint-Louis, Senegal.
Cheikh has expertise on feasibility study of energy projects, PV systems sizing, energetic audits and energy recovery from solid waste. Cheikh is also highly qualified in the field of scientific research and the publication of scientific articles.
